Although I had played the original on the PS2, I just couldn't resist giving the classic gory action adventure title another spin, this time in glorious HD and with a slew of trophies thrown into the bargain. The game is every bit as beautiful in its ugliness as I remembered it and always leaves you thirsty for more monster blood by the end. The Platinum is not too difficult as you can get it whilst playing on Easy (I did it on Hard, of course) but the game must also be completed in five hours and with all phoenix feathers and gorgon eyes found. Of course, even if you do have to play again, the game is so awesome it would be no problem!
